On August 11, I got to interview my former creative writing teacher, Catherine Arra, for Get Lit Beacon. We corresponded beforehand and that exchange can be found here. Her new book, (Women in Parentheses), is just out, and I’m itching to get my hands on it.
The Tahoma Literary Review published my flash nonfiction piece, “Studies in Erosion,” in their summer issue (Issue 15). I am old enough to consider a print publication, in an actual paper hard-copy journal, as a “real” publication. But, you can also read it online, with a really lovely introduction by the nonfiction editor, Ann Beman.
